Hi!
I'm fully prepared to be ripped to shreds for this review but--Dan is technically one of the best. His hands should be preserved for posterity. His fingers moved liked lightening on his guitar when he was jamming and his piano playing was great.  He's also better looking now then he was at the height of his popularity and his voice is wonderful as it gets more mellow. However, it just seemed as if he was phoning it in. I didn't feel as if he connected with his audience at all. This is the first time I've seen him in  concert so maybe he's always like this. I didn't get a sense of stage presence at all. By a strange quirk of fate,  I'm going to see him again in Houston Sat. night. I hope to find a different Dan then. I wonder if he isn't just tired of touring out of a sense of obligation to promote his new CD which I just bought. I love his music so much that I'm hoping he was just having an off night.
