Standing At The Crossroad

I remember growing up in the farmhouse down the road
Daddy was gone, Momma worked long to carry the heavy load

She told me son there will come a time when the choice is hard to make
Just look inside with a prayerful eye, there will be the road you take

When you're standing at the crossroad, wondering where you're bound
Standing at the crossroad, fighting back the fear that tries to drag you down
When you're standing at the crossroad, Ya hope you're not too blind to see
Standing at the crossroad, searching for your destiny

Sometimes life will hand you a gentle springtime rain
Sometimes life will hand you that old ball and chain

Sometimes both roads are pure, the decision drives you blind
Just trust yourself, a leap of faith, will guide you every time

When you're standing at the crossroad, wondering where you're bound
Standing at the crossroad, fighting back the fear that tries to drag you down
When you're standing at the crossroad, Ya hope you're not too blind to see
Standing at the crossroad, searching for your destiny

When it comes your time to choose, and you don't know what to do
Look inside for the light to shine on the road that's right for you

Walk that road with your head held high, you can do it if you try
She said son, I'm always here for you, to guide you by and by

When you're standing at the crossroad, wondering where you're bound
Standing at the crossroad, fighting back the fear that tries to drag you down
When you're standing at the crossroad, Ya hope you're not too blind to see
Standing at the crossroad, searching for your destiny

When you're standing at the crossroad, wondering where you're bound
Standing at the crossroad, fighting back the fear that tries to drag you down
When you're standing at the crossroad, Ya hope you're not too blind to see
Standing at the crossroad, searching for your destiny
