REVIEWS

Chris Burnett reviews me in "ALL ABOUT JAZZ":

Also, be sure to check out Chris's music - he is an excellent saxophonist in his own right!

CONTRA COSTA TIMES, FEB. 5th
REVIEW OF CALIFORNIA SYMPHONY

"Adiemus" is upbeat and vaguely African-sounding. Jekowsky conducted a committed performance, featuring Ernie Mansfield on electronic flute, with Karl Perazzo and Walfredo Reyes Sr. on various African drums and congas. Under the direction of Iris Lamanna, the Contra Costa Children's Chorus delivered Jenkins' wordless text with exuberant flair."

(Actually, the "electronic flute" is my EWI - which stands for
"Electric Wind Instrument")
