Ernie Mansfield (ernie@mansfieldmusic.com); Arranger/Composer/Performer who played with Dan in his college days at the University of Illinois. His credits include albums, soundtracks, children's music, commercials, music for educational software, orchestral works, and works for dance theatre. He has received grants from Meet the Composer, California Arts Council, and the National Endowment for the Arts. Jim's extensive background in the music business has paved the road to Jim's dream.
Northern Seascape, the title-cut of which Jim co-wrote with Dan Fogelberg, was
released by Angel/EMI in January, 1999 and reached #21 on the Billboard
Charts. Now, Jim's newest release, "Cape of Good Hope" is being greeted with the
same enthusiastic reception as his previous release. Dan's
contribution to Jim's new album is on a song called "Picasso's Midnight
Stroll".
